Manager of Fintech Payouts Reconciliations

You will grow as a key component in a Finance team that aspires to be thought of as small but world-class in its ability to leverage automation and technology to deliver rock-solid, reliable information and valuable insights to Company’s leaders and institutional investors. You will advance your skills across valuable areas such as Financial Technology Operations, Data Analysis & Analytical tools like Tableau, FX Crypto & Treasury operations and Global Payout Orchestration. You will create processes for and manage the reconciliation process with 5 Bank Partners and 15 payouts partners (and growing) – the largest network in Payouts.

Responsibilities:

​

· Understand our current Partners’s systems, data and statements and how it relates to MassPay’s data model. Each one has its nuances.

· Help onboard new partners to learn their systems and set reconciliation expectations early in the relationship.

· Reconcile Payout Partner data daily/monthly, ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for, by leveraging tools like Advanced Excel functions, Tableau and PowerBI

· Investigate, Communicate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Document variances and analysis for all findings and track their reversals

· Maintain accurate records of all reconciliations performed.

· Participate in projects relating to the enhancement of reconciliation capabilities / processes.

· Help lead coordination and communication of reconciliation results, including month-end summary report, by Partner and in total, of new items, ongoing items and reversals/corrections of prior items.

· Interface with MassPay’s financial partners across the world to communicate operational breakages and help drive resolution

· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Qualifications

​

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analysis, MIS or related field.

5 years’ experience at a Fintech Payout Company reconciling Payout (or maybe Payment) systems data with partners required.· Basic understanding of how reconciliations and exceptions impact a Fintech Company’s Financial Statements

· Very Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong data & analytical skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to investigate, prioritize, and identify the root cause of issues.

· Self-motivated. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.

· Passionate, avid learner. Not afraid of challenges.

Preferred Skills

​

· Experience using Tableau or similar. Creating recs in matching tools like Adra or Floqast a+

· Experience in auditing or financial analysis.

· Prior use and knowledge of Global money movement mechanisms (wires, ACHs, OCT, RTP, SEPA, etc).
