The Marketing and Communications teams are responsible for driving revenue growth. They do that by optimizing the entire GTM funnel — from market awareness and customer demand, to sales pipelines and customer success — with effective brand marketing, communications, field marketing, content marketing, sales enablement, demand generation, and customer training and education.
- Define TRM’s strategic brand position and develop a distinctive company narrative that enables us to own that position
- Bring our company narrative to life by identifying and developing stories about our products, people, data and customers, including formats such as press releases, announcements, position papers, op-eds, case studies and others
- Own the plan — including how we will define and measure success — for activating our company narrative in-market through earned channels, with an emphasis on media and industry analysts
- Develop frameworks and assets that help others communicate effectively and consistently about TRM, including support for speaking engagements, media interviews, sales meetings, partner activations, and other internal and external communications channels
- Work with counterparts in Growth Marketing, Policy and Sales to advance industry- and region-specific business objectives, including building brand authority and reach in key markets globally
What you'll be doing at TRM:
- Defining TRM’s corporate narrative and connecting it to day-to-day communications about TRM — presentations
- Securing coverage of those narratives across earned channels that can influence TRM’s growth, including media, industry analysts, awards programs, events and investor communities
- Building the profiles of TRM executives and subject matter experts via earned and owned media channels, including support on content authoring, speaking engagements and social media personas
- Establishing and scaling an internal communications program and ensuring consistency and alignment between brand, executive comms, and internal culture and employee experience, ultimately optimizing amplification potential.
- Setting ambitious goals for raising TRM’s profile and accelerating growth through communications and building a team to execute against those goals — testing, optimizing and revolutionizing as needed along the way
What we're looking for:
- A strategic thinker who can wrap his/her head around a nascent, rapidly evolving sector and stake TRM’s place in it through clear, distinctive storytelling and newsjacking.
- A brilliant communicator (especially written) who can reinforce that positioning and bring it to life convincingly through head-turning content
- An interpersonal wizard who opens key channels to amplify our messages by building industry, media and analyst relationships and keeping a constant beat on both headline topics and underlying market sentiment.
The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $171,000-$224,000
- Additionally, this role may be eligible to participate in TRM’s equity plan
- Please note – we factor in the different costs for geographies outside the United States
