In the current public blockchain paradigm, users and entities unknowingly broadcast data in the public, compromising privacy and security to get trustlessness.

Not only are unencrypted blockchains inherently privacy-exposing, they require significant redundancy to compute and verify the legitimacy of transactions.

Implementing scalable encryption in a public blockchain paradigm requires cutting-edge math and engineering. Thankfully, our team of scientists and engineers invented Plonk, the industry-standard zkSNARK, and Noir, the universal language of zero knowledge.

Now, we’re building a first of its kind Layer 2 with private smart contracts. This requires new cryptographic primitives, a zero-knowledge DSL for writing contracts, a privacy-friendly execution environment, a carefully designed set of circuits that prove the validity of the chain to L1, a decentralized block-building and proving mechanism, and a top-tier user and developer experience. And it’s now time to bring it to market.

The role

We’re looking for a world-class product marketer who is passionate, strategic, and user-focused to join our team. You will play an essential role in driving the adoption of Aztec by promoting our products to a variety of potential builders, and improving the developer onboarding experience. You will deeply understand how Aztec works and collaborate with a cross-functional team to launch products globally. You will be responsible for positioning and messaging Aztec’s products as well as effectively communicating their impact. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator who has experience supporting a product with a technical user base and insights into the blockchain industry.

This is a remote position based in the US

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop product positioning and messaging that reflects a deep understanding of the product and empathy for users.
• Lead effort to provide a best in class developer journey across properties including website, docs, and tutorials with support from developer relations.
• Establish comprehensive product launch strategy and lead content development including product videos, website copy, blog posts, and demos.
• Plan and execute product-related marketing campaigns including technical thought leadership, use cases-specific content, and technical blog posts across channels.
• Produce collateral including one-pagers, presentations, and case studies to support ecosystem and partnership efforts.
• Draft content for new website pages targeted at potential application developers, infrastructure partners, and network participants.
• Coordinate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure product marketing content is consistent with the brand voice and distributed across channels.
• Partner with outsourced vendor(s) to generate graphics and videos around Aztec products.
• Measure the effectiveness of product marketing efforts and iterate on the user journey to drive the outcomes we’re seeking.

**Qualifications: **

• 7+ years of relevant work experience including 3+ years of product marketing experience for a complex product with a technical user base.
• Excellent written communication skills. Must be capable of creating content that tells a compelling story about Aztec and explain its benefits to potential users.
• Experience setting strategic direction and leading product launches that require input and execution across teams.

Base Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 + equity + additional benefits. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
