About the team

The Capital Markets, Business Process Services (BPS) division works to drive operational efficiencies and discipline across Capital Markets. As a Project Manager you will work with a team of Business Analysts, Process Engineers, and members of internal teams to identify efficiencies and manage the execution of these projects.

What you will be doing:

• Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement
• Manage project risks effectively, identify potential problems early, and assist in resolving issues as they arise
• Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams
• Engage with management or senior leadership on a regular basis, contributing to initiatives both within and outside of specific projects. This includes frequent interactions with external partners
• Focus on building and improving systems, primarily using SharePoint, to automate and enhance the entry and receipt of information, driving initiatives specifically tailored to the capital markets space
• Evaluate projects to determine if they meet the necessary criteria to move forward, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and operational efficiencies
• Providing timely project or sub-plan deliverables that align with project or program plan structure and providing timely status updates to FIS and client management highlighting potential issues/problems
• Anticipating needs of project, program and PMO management and making independent decisions and takes action to meet those needs

What you will need:

• At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in technology or banking industries
• PMI-ACP or PMP Certification
• Capability of adapting to daily changes, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Experience applying Six Sigma method in project management capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

Added bonus if you have:

• Program management experience in addition to your project management experience
• Experience working in fintech

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $73,250.00 - $119,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
