We focus our work on contributing to the Eco Protocol and building Bend. The Eco Protocol is for stablecoins and the apps that use them — designed from the ground up for the most capital efficient stablecoin transaction execution across Ethereum, with the simplest possible user experience. Bend is the product we build to demonstrate what the protocol makes possible — to show that we can build a seamless payment experience that anyone can use, with crypto today.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement smart contracts and services related to novel cross-chain proving systems; transaction routing; governance; enshrined rollup functionality
• Conduct research and proof-of-concept work in these areas
• Directly influence the protocol roadmap and strategy
• Be a tech lead

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of blockchain development experience with a focus on Ethereum
• Code securing real value somewhere in the ecosystem
• Deep understanding of Solidity, the EVM, smart contract best practices and current industry patterns
• Apparent interest and passion for contributing to the crypto ecosystem
• A bias for startups: constant problem solving, high ownership and accountability, smaller teams

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with crypto wallets, bridging technologies, intent/relay networks and/or an understanding of their integration into web applications
• Informed opinions on the rollup ecosystem and current developments in the Ethereum technical roadmap
• Active and demonstrated contributions to open source crypto projects
• Prior experience implementing complex math in Solidity
