As we evolve, we're transitioning from a platform to a robust, scalable protocol designed for seamless plug-and-play integration. Our mission is to empower builders in the DeFi ecosystem by abstracting complexity and ensuring top-tier security, relaying, scheduling, and data availability.

Role Overview

You will partner closely with our CTO to architect and develop our next-generation DeFi protocol. This role demands a visionary technologist with deep expertise in blockchain and DeFi, capable of leading the technical direction and ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our protocol. You will play a pivotal role in integrating tokenomics, building network incentives, and creating a user-friendly environment for developers to automate their DeFi projects effortlessly.

Key Responsibilities

- **Technical Leadership**Collaborate with the CTO to define and execute the technical roadmap for the DeFi protocol.- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.- **Protocol Development**Architect a modular and plug-and-play protocol framework that simplifies DeFi automation for builders.- Integrate tokenomics and design economic incentives to foster ecosystem growth and sustainability.- Oversee the implementation of security measures, including audits and vulnerability assessments.- **Collaboration & Mentorship**Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product, design, and business development, to align technical solutions with business goals.- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.- **Scalability & Performance**Optimize the protocol for high performance, low latency, and seamless scalability to accommodate growing user bases.- Implement robust data availability solutions and ensure reliable relaying and scheduling mechanisms.- **Innovation & Continuous Improvement**Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain, DeFi, and related technologies.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the protocol’s functionality and developer experience.

Qualifications

- **Education & Experience**Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role.- Proven experience in developing and deploying blockchain-based solutions, preferably in the DeFi space.- **Technical Skills**Proficiency in smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Rust) and blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, EVM-like, Solana, and others).- Strong understanding of decentralized finance protocols, tokenomics, and economic incentive structures.- Experience with scalable architecture design, microservices, and API development.- Familiarity with security best practices in blockchain and DeFi applications, including conducting and managing security audits.- **Soft Skills**Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Passion for innovation and driving projects from conception to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with layer-2 solutions and cross-chain interoperability.
Knowledge of automated market makers (AMMs), liquidity pools, and other DeFi mechanisms.
Contributions to open-source blockchain or DeFi projects.
Understanding of regulatory considerations in the DeFi space.
